Social Expedition Podcast #5: Brand Identity, Droid, South of Beale
Posted on 05 November 2009 by LunaWeb
For today’s edition of the Social Expedition Podcast, we brought in Ed Cabigao from Memphis gastropub, South of Beale, to talk about his use of social media for the pub. The story of how he used Twitter and Facebook to share about what it’s like to open a restaurant – and how that built anticipation for its opening – is quickly becoming local legend.
We also talked about Sprint’s customer service, brand identity – specifically the Bayer logo – and the Motorola Droid.
Our SocialMemphis segment featured Memphis City School’s new student social network about to be rolled out, with this week’s featured Twitter-er being @DowntownMemphis.
