We hope to see SCVNGR take a more prominent position in location-based services, but we shall see! Thanks for listening!

Just downloaded it on my iPhone and enjoy it! I think SCVNGR is SO much better than Foursquare simply because of the game dynamics that they've built into it. Now they must accumulate their user base because not a single person I know is using it. :( I'm guessing that Foursquare will simply add on some of the features that SCVNGR has in order to compete.

A good analogy. Flipboard has definitely suffered for their lack of preparation. Let's see if the "pretty" component can carry them through the "doesn't function" problem. Hey- it worked for the iPhone 4...

I downloaded Flipboard on the first day and was impressed, but since then it has been a HUGE disappointment. Their lack of ability to let me link in my Facebook and Twitter streams make the app serious lacking if it is suppose to be THE social media app.

There advice now is to download the new 1.0.1 version and send them your email address, so that they can put you in line for Facebook and Twitter integration.

This is probably the worst launch a company can have. They had huge press from Apple, Mashable, Techcrunch, and other media outlets and then fall flat on their face. This is beyond the Fail Whale and the Sad Girl, this is just flat out not coming to school with a project that you had months to get ready and asking for another week or two...or three.
